This is not correct. Your account will be deleted if you are found to be violating someone else's copyright.

10. What is the minimum cash out amount?
Currently, the cash out minimum is $5.

11. What is the minimum commission amount that will be paid out?
Currently, the minimum commission that will be paid is $0.02. This means that commissions will be paid out or referred sales as long as they are $.05 or greater. Commissions $.049 or less will not be processed and will therefore be forwarded to the artist.

12. How many levels will the commissions be paid out?
Currently, the commissions are paid out over five levels with a minimum commission of $0.05

13. What is the "Commission Percentage?"
The commission percentage is paid to the referring user associated with a transaction.  The Artist sets the commission percentage level paid to the users who refer sales of that particular product. If an Artist sets their commission percentage to 10% then a 10% commission would go to the user who referred a sale based on the price of the sale. For example, if an album sold for $10 with a 10% commission percentage and fan A referred a sale of artist A's products to fan B then fan A would receive a $1 commission. If fan B now refers a sale of artist A's album to fan C then fan A would receive a $.50 commission and fan B would receive a $1 commission. This process will continue up to five levels. All remaining net income (after paypal, taxes and fees) is forwarded to the artist. See how it works!

14. What is the "Sales Percentage?"
The sales percentage of a product is set buy the artist and used to incentivize the sale of that particular product. Just like a sale at any other store, the sales percentage is the amount that the purchaser will receive off the full price of the product when making a transaction. When a user is making a purchase of a product, they will be prompted to enter a "coupon code" which will trigger the sales percentage associated with that product. These "coupon codes" can only come from Audimated users who are "Fans" of that particular Artist. If a user is a Fan of a particular artist then that users unique identifier (www.audimated.com/uniqueidentifier) can be used as the "coupon code." When this coupon code is entered and a transaction is processed, the purchasing user will receive the sales percentage off the purchase price and the user with the unique identifier used will receive the commission percentage. See how it works!

15. Why do you have to be a fan of an artist to refer sales to them?
Users need to be fans of artists they refer sales to for several reasons. It prevents users from "gaming" the system and friends from "trading referrals" that they really were not involved in. This also insures that artists can accurately track who their top and most productive fans are while incentivizing them to grow their fan base. Learn the basics

16. Can I refer a sale to myself?
No this is not allowed.

17. What does a typical transaction look like?
Lets assume a $10 album sale is referred with a 10% commission percentage and a 10% sales percentage. The purchaser would be charged $9 ($10 subtract the $1 they saved from the 10% sales percentage). The referring user would receive $1 ($10 album price times 10% commission percentage). Audimated would receive $1 ($10 album price times 10% transaction fee). Paypal would take about $.60. The Artist would be forwarded the remaining $6.40 (which is a lot better than iTunes payout of $4 on a $10 album). Not bad for a sale that the Artist didn't have to work for and dont forget, a $1 went out to the fan who made it all happen. See how it works!

18. Why does Audimated charge 10%?
To keep the lights (and servers) on. The expense of storing and transferring our user's data is enormous. To help off set that cost Audimated charges a 10% transaction fee. If you have questions, comments or other pricing suggestions about this fee please contact Audimated. See how it works!.
